Witness Theyyam in a traditional temple or kavu, where performers transform into divine figures through elaborate costumes, striking face paint, rhythmic drumming, sacred chants and powerful dance. Stay in an authentic Kerala Tharavad and enjoy a traditional Onam Sadhya served on a banana leaf. Tour dates: 27–28 August 2026 Departure: 29 August 2026 Duration: 2 Days / 2 Nights Location: Thalassery and Kannur, Kerala Tentative Itinerary Day 1 – 27 August: Temple, Onam Sadhya & Theyyam Check in to your Kerala Tharavad and visit Peralassery Subramanya Temple. Enjoy a festive Onam Sadhya, followed by an authentic Theyyam ritual in a local temple or kavu. Depending on the programme, performances may include Muthappan, Gulikan or Bhagavathy traditions. Day 2 – 28 August: Theyyam & Coastal Heritage Trail Begin early with scheduled Theyyam performances. After breakfast, explore Thalassery Sea Bridge, Graffiti Road, Thalassery Fort, Dharmadam Island and Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach. Return to your heritage accommodation for the second overnight stay. Day 3 – 29 August: Breakfast & Departure Enjoy breakfast, check out and depart with cherished memories of Kerala’s culture, spirituality and coastline.
